SAN CARLOS CITY -The National Bureau of Investigation base in Dagupan recently cleared Mayor Jullier Ayoy Resuello on his possible liability in the 9 million scam.
In its recent findings The National Bureau of Investigation ( NBI ) also ruled out the possibility of a hold-up which was reported by Leny Fermin to the police.
Meanwhile, In the alleged forging of Mayor Resuello’s signature the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) signature experts said that the specimen signature of Mayor Resuello appeared with a natural stroke while the photocopied signature on the check has a shaken stroke.
As of press time the fact finding committee headed by Atty. Rodolfo Samson, City Legal Officer is rushing the transcription of its findings at his office.
Samson however said that several heads will roll due to their involvement in the said scam.
Initially, the culpability of treasurer Arturo Mandapat and his cashier Leny Fermin may end up to the filling of technical malversation by the committee against the two.
In an earlier interview with Mayor Resuello he ascertained his knowledge that he never signed the 9 million check which was withdrawn by Lenny Fermin at the Land Bank of San Carlos City branch.
The final draft of the committee report created by Mayor Resuello will finally come out this coming Tuesday.
Atty. Rodolfo Samson head of the fact finding committee said that indefinite suspensions of those involve in the case will follow upon its recommendation to the Mayor.
Moreover, The National Bureau of Investigation has already filed a case to the Ombudsman and still waiting for further instruction from the said office for them to investigate to any related involvement.
